On the heels of reports that she has been booted from the cast of Transformers 3, Megan Fox released a statement to People: “Megan Fox will not be starring in Transformers 3,” reps for the actress, 24, tell People. “It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.” Both Hitfix and Deadline have been all over the story, before and after the statement.
Hitfix: Sources close to the production tell HitFix Megan Fox was not
written out of Transformers 3, nor was it Michael Bay’s decision to
drop her from the film. She left the picture.
Nikki Finke at Deadline has it differently, though: I can tell you that this new statement from Megan Fox’s PR flack about why the actress won’t be appearing in Transformers 3 is absolutely untrue: “It
was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.”
What a pantload. I stand by my scoop that Paramount and Michael Bay
kicked her to the curb by not picking up her option to do the threequel.
Still no word from the camps of either Skids nor Mudflap…

Megan Fox is a waste compared to who on the celebrity circuit? Personally, if I even bother with Transformers 3, I will miss seeing her. Because she's so hot. What else do you need from her in that kind of movie? As if real actresses right now are saying "Finally! I get my shot!"

This is a real shame. We all know it is the characters and the love story that make these Transformer films work. We know that Michael Bay is a actor's director, and the performances he has drawn out of his actors have been second to none. So this is a shame. The reason we go see these films is to see if love does conquer all. How can the franchise survive if we no longer have hope.
