It’s not a movie version of the Chinua Achebe book but rather a movie that Fiddy wrote himself (along with Brian A Miller). Not only will Curtis Jackson be playing a guy with cancer, he’ll be playing a guy with cancer who is in his senior year of college! Every bit of that is a stretch for Fiddy.
Laugh now, but major weight change always gets the attention of the Academy. Could this film be 50 Cent’s moment in the sun?
