This weekend Magnet released a new red band trailer for Rec 2. It’s here to show you an expanded look at the story of the film, which
takes place 15 minutes after the events of the first. Hopefully the below embed works so you don’t have to log in to your dusty ol’ MySpace account to
see it.
It
actually seems less graphic and effective than the original
teaser trailer.
Perhaps that’s because it’s one of those trailers for a foreign film
that completely pussies out when it comes to hearing any of that
funny-soundin’ foreign dialogue. No, we get another movie trailer guy ripoff giving us bland narration. C’mon, you’re better than this, Magnet!

Warning for anyone who hasn't watched the trailer yet – the trailer unfortunately shows many of the jump scares. I would rather have not watched it but that was my mistake.
Rec 2 was good… but definitely not as good as the first. A large part of it depends on how much you liked the "answer" in the ending and just how far you want to see it taken (so that some of the movie feels very different). Still, a decent flick (again, the last part is really good)
Man, this film was chugging along nicely until they introduce those little teeny bopper shitheads. Goes down the crap pipe rapidly after that.
Caught this film at the Toronto International Film Festival. Daybreakers may have won the people's choice awards, but Rec 2 was definitely the most surprisingly good film. One of the best 'zombie' films of the decade.
WTF?? i already have a DVD of this .. and it is a very good film .. well the trailer sure showed some great parts of it .. they totally spoiled it. The last part of it is indeed one of the best shockers in the movie.
