E3 is starting up in two weeks but those lucky bastards over at Gametrailer
have already been rounding up a plethora of exclusive trailers. If you’re a first person shooter fan who loves sequels, they’ve got what you need. Here’s just some of what you can expect to read up on in the coming weeks.
teaser introduces an enemy known only as the Pinger. There’s certainly
more coming from the game this E3 but after that incredible
teaser trailer
this is a bit of a letdown. But one has only to head over to the latest
Gametrailers TV episode to see some of the game in action, which
more than makes up for it.
Next up, F.E.A.R. 3. We’ve all heard how the game
will feature a co-op campaign with John Carpenter consulting but now we get to see it in
motion- and how different the gameplay experience will be depending on
who you pick. If you get bored of just shooting things with increased
abilities you can always go the hand-to-hand route, with the benefit of
some psychic, plasmid-eque abilities.
get to Deus Ex: Human Revolution, the hugely anticipated sequel. I
shudder to think what the Deus Ex faithful think of the very Square
CGI in this three minute trailer, because simply the mention that the game will feature regenerating health has already made
purists nuts.
As you’ll see your character in the
game has some serious body modifications, but this game will feature
mechanical
augmentations as opposed to the nanite-based body
modifications
featured in the last two games, which were set at a later
date.
Cruder and more brutal is what they’re going for, apparently. Expect the
game to hit early 2011.

Deus Ex: So is that actual gameplay?
Whithstanding, that's a very nice trailer.
Not gameplay, CG done by Square Enix. The in game cinematics are done in realtime by the engine. From some supposed first pics that were leaked from a console version it still looks pretty good though, google should find them for you.
Can't wait to pirate all these games!!! I keed, I keed.
F.E.A.R. 3.. nice! and that Deus Ex.. great
The new Deus Ex is a prequel, that's why the tech isn't nanite based. It takes place about 30 years before the 1st one.
Holy Snikes! I briefly played Deus Ex 2, and didn't get too far, but goddamn the third has cyber-punk badassery written all over it… I think I just got off.
Good to see Snake is alive and well in Deus Ex. Funny how innovative the first one was, only to be destroyed by the second one. And now Snake is in it. Weird.
