Everybody who has seen Scott Pilgrim vs the World is saying that Chris Evans’ turn as Lucas Lee, a skateboarding action star evil ex of Ramona Flowers, is one of the highlights of the film. This clip seems specifically designed for those who worried that Michael Cera wouldn’t be much of an action star. I think this clip really shuts that concern right up. By the way, doesn’t that musical cue sort of remind you of The Warriors? It’s not, but it’s certainly reminiscent!

I have faith in Wright but Michael Cera just doesn't have the kind of spazzy excitability that Scott has in the comic. Can't wait, though.

Yeah, still not feeling it. michael cera will be an action star when jayden smith gets a personality. I care so little about both of them that passed on hitting shift to capitilize their names because it wasn't worth the effort.

Still not clicking for me. I want this to be good and judging from Wright's previous work it should be, but I just haven't liked anything I have seen so far. From this clip Michael Cera can certainly take a punch, but that isn't why I will end up caring about this movie.

This clip does prove that CHRIS EVANS was fun to watch, but how does it allay fears that Cera can't be an action star? It seems to prove he can't be. All through the clip he's pathetic and whiny and has a look of blank eyed wimpy fear. When he finally starts fighting and blocking attacks, it's in an limp and half-hearted way, with no energy, no sign he's having any fun BEING an action star. So this clip proves… Chris Evans … star. Michael Cera … blowing his last chance.
