Now that a remake of The Karate Kid is coming we ask – whatever
happened to Ralph Macchio? It turns out that he grew up well-adjusted,
got married, became happy and lives as a decent man.
Which
is terrible for his career.
The latest fake trailer from Funny or
Die is Wax On,
Fuck Off,
in which Macchio tries to find some edge in order to bring his career
back from the dead. It’s kind of delightful.

I wish it was real, so good!
I wish this was an actual fake documentary, it would kill!
Isn't this the plot of Karate Kid 3? "You broke my nose!"
A William Zabka cameo would have been icing on the cake.
Well, in fairness, he did have a small, recurring role on the recently concluded "Ugly Betty." But when the first time we saw him on that my wife said, "Holy shit! Ralph Macchio? I thought he was dead!" Which pretty much sums up the last two decades of his career.
But I'm glad to see he's doing well and he does a fine job in this bit.
It's sorta like JCVD but with humour.
He also had a role in Artie Lange's Beer League. I guess them Jersey guys stick together.
Pure gold.
classic
"Lives as a decent man" – you make it sound like some kind of disguise.
I love it when these guys can poke fun at themselves. Russel Crowe should try something like this, the grumpy shit.
"For God's Sake! I'm 48 years old!".
Shit I hope I look that young at his age!
