The trailer for Red, about retired CIA operatives who don’t stay retired long, has hit Yahoo!, and it kind of rules. Based on the funnybook by internet pervert Warren Ellis, Red stars Helen Mirren, Bruce Willis, John Malkovich and Morgan Freeman as some of the most deadly old people ever.

That trailer really, reeeeally wanted to use a Michael Kamen cue from Brazil. But it just couldn't commit!

At least with Max we got all of these things together.

How is this based on the "funnybook" in any way? Don't really recall there being a whole team of retired agents, or any kind of comedy in the book. What's the point of even having this affiliated with the thing? It looks like an entertaining flick, though. Just seems silly to completely change the entire concept of the idea. Why not call it something else?
