Channing Tatum is in talks to star in the sci-fi thriller, Ion, for Fox 2000, says THR.com. Ridley and Tony Scott are attached to produce the pic, which revolves around a man who travels to different Earths and dimensions in order to find his reincarnated lover. The script is an original spec by relative newcomer, Will Dunn.
Tatum was seen last year in several films, the biggest being G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, where he portrayed Duke. He also appeared in Johnny Depp’s Public Enemies and had the lead alongside Terrence in the streetfighting drama, Fighting. Upcoming projects include The Eagle of the Ninth, Son of No One, Cheaters and The Vow.

Agreed. This guy looks one chromosome away from the banjo kid in Deliverance. Banjo kid was at least interesting and had mad banjo playing skillz.

This guy is also one chromosome away from looking like "Sloth" in The Goonies. I don't like this word, but it's the only one that fits: he looks JUST this side of retarded. Yuck and bleah.
