If you were wondering if Disney’s upcoming The Sorcerer’s Apprentice had any connection whatsoever to the classic Fantasia,
beyond just the concept and title, wonder no more as the below clip
shows an homage to that fabled cartoon involving cleaning
supplies. The Sorcerer’s Apprentice has been moved up two days to July 14th and stars Nicolas Cage, Jay Baruchel, Alfred Molina and Teresa Palmer.

He's come a long way from Popular Mechanics for Kids. I'm worried though, because I'm actually looking forward to seeing this…weird.
Pacing was ass. Not magical in the slightest. Jesus, was it the shooting or the editing? Risky to reference a classic sequence in film and then shoot it with zero sense of style. And good to see cage is back to killing his goodwill after building it up with Kick Ass.
This movie was much much better than I expected it to be. Very pleasant surprise; I think most will enjoy it.
It is indeed a good movie.
