Beautiful poster. I try watching these movies on HBO and they're largely impenetrable. So boring. I liked the 3rd one, but that's about it. Well. There was a cool scene in a suburban playground in one of the more recent films that was good. Apologies for being a hater.

i find HP parts 1 & 2 to be boring, but they took a HUGE step up in part 3. Haven't been that interested in 6, i need to revisit it.

Yes, spoilers. For example, I've read the first two Harry Potter books, and am half-way through the third. I am waiting to watch the later movies until after I finish the book series. Yet here is a "One Sheet" telling me that Hogwarts burns down. A poster hangs for all to see (even those who haven't read the books). I'd say that's a spoiler.

SirFuxALot: I couldn't agree more. If movies ever go strictly 3D in theaters, I'll wait until they come out on disc, Netflix, or whatever before seeing them – and only if there's a 2D version available.

Isn't there a scene in the trailer of Hogwarts on fire?

It makes a nice parallel with the second teaser poster for the first film showing the first-year students approaching the school over the lake.

Reading comments here (or more so on AICN) is like experiencing Internet Memes 101: "Meh", "The only good one was the one Cuaron directed", "Avatar's 3D sucked!" "Lucas raped my childhood!"… wait, that last one doesn't apply, but a good Lucas bashing should never be squandered, should it? And yet when HP7 opens every last negative Nelly here will be among the first in line and probably wearing their wizarding robes. You guys are a blast.

See you in the Predators comments! (and Cuaron DID make the best Harry Potter movie …. it took years for that "meme" to catch on, but thank god it finally got recognition).

Obviously there was going to be some big conclusion at Hogwarts. It's not like the place burns to the ground.

#9 Rest easy. Hogwart's doesn't burn to the ground. It's how Hollywood sells tickets. That castle has become an icon for series. What better way to intrigue people then by showing it burnt to the foundation. 90% themes of The Dark Knight posters didn't happen in the movie either. Relax buddy!

Official promotional material direct from the studio does not need a "spoiler" tag. You're going to see this image at your local cineplex, and plastered all over subways and billboards, etc.

Because a scene is in a trailer doesn't mean it's in the movie.
