Part of it is the use of a haunting cover of Radiohead’s Creep, but the latest trailer for The Social Network, David Fincher’s take on Aaron Sorkin’s script about the founding of Facebook, looks flat out amazing. Like ‘Clear a spot on your 2010 Top Ten List’ amazing.

Man has a director ever fallen further from grace than fincher? This guy went from fight club to benjamin button? Now he is directing a bio about a guy who ripped off myspace? Good Lord this may be even worse than Zodiac. I don't know what koolaid you are drinking Devin but Fincher has exactly 2 good movies under his resume and from the looks of that shitty trailer that is how is resume will stand for the near future!

It looks good. Devin's maybe too excited for it because anything that comments on online or nerdlinger activity excites him a lot since he's a navel-gazer. But I think it looks like an interesting movie, can't go wrong with Fincher.

I was disappointed with Button but this has to be better. Zodiac was great, and easily surpassed Fight Club in my opinion. Se7en still rules the roost.
I still don't understand why I should give a fuck about this movie. I mean, yeah David Fincher is great and all, although he hasn't done anything that's really blown me away since "Fight Club", but it's about fucking Facebook. Why the fuck should I care about Facebook? I hate that shit in real life, I could care less about the jerk offs that designed it. Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, all that shit. Congratulations! It look like a fake movie from a Hollywood satire like Get Shorty, Tropic Thunder or The Player. In other words, it seems like a silly joke. Like maybe a SNL Digital Short or something. Just transpose Eisenberg for Samberg.
