With Chris Evans and the rest of the Captain America: The First Avenger crew hitting Comic Con this weekend, you can bet we’ll see the Star Spangled Avenger in his full regalia. To tide you over check out this poster, which Paramount will be handing out at the Con to get autographed by the assembled cast and crew (including director Joe Johnston and baddie Hugo Weaving). It’s concept art, but it’s gotta be close to the final design.

I wish the fascist Captain America from the Ultimates was in this movie. USA! USA!!
Good God, I am starting to get my nerd-based hopes up. That stupid updated Captain America costume actually looks cool in the context of the rubble of a WWII European village. And that Thor/Loki fight….no way, no way, no way it can be that cool in the movie. It's just not possible.

Nice, but where are Cap's head wings and Thor's winged helmet? The 2 costumes designs are pretty good overall, but the missing headgear makes the characters look incomplete.
They are accurate to their Ultimate Universe outfits (except for Thor's cape), but I never cared for those.
If Loki and Odin can wear their big gaudy helmets then why not Thor?

Give it up, fanboys. It might work in the comics, but wiings on headgear would look stupid in a movie.

Did Captain America ever use guns? I was never the biggest Cap fan so I don't know, but I don't ever recall him using guns.
