I love how crazy John Malkovich looks in RED. Unhinged is a good look for him.
Posters and stills and bears from RED have been dumping all over the internet recently, but Summit was nice enough to send over the whole high-res batch of them together, for your centralized consumptive pleasure. Along with the posters comes a few stills that I don’t feel like I’ve seen around yet, though they’re just images from the trailer (which I’ve also embedded below).
If you’ve missed the marketing so far, RED is essentially the story of a batch of CIA retirees who decide to start killing people and blowing shit up again. If you’re excited for the DC adaptation about olds kicking the youngest ass alive (shit, I wish this film was about Helen Mirren punting placentas) then start clicking to make things huge!

I still find it weird that a movie called RED will have very little of the red stuff. I mean, how can the film possibly do that shot of an unhinged Malkovich's with a nail gun justice with a PG-13 rating.
And I appreciate that they gave Urban his own poster, too. Really like the guy.
I like how half of the character posters are for roles invented for this "adaptation." Haveing read 'Red,' I say the movie needs more characters/relationships and plot if it's going to work. Book was overly-simple (dare I say Simplistic). . . but the art was pretty.
RED was a film treatment, not a comi cbook.
#4: I think most comics are, at this point, film treatments. Also: I remain unreasonably excited about this movie. The logical part of my brain tells me "caution!" but the part that likes to see Malkovich Mirren Cox Dreyfuss Willis just doesn't care.
