I’m not sure what the Green Lantern Corps offers in the way of health benefits; but you’ve got to figure they’re pretty good to have so many loyal employees. Unfortunately for Abin Sur, though, Earth’s ain’t quite up to par, because he didn’t live long enough to get back to the office to file a worker’s comp claim. I’m sure the Guardians are relieved at that, because those gaping chest wound medical claims are a bitch in paperwork.
Anyway, you can check out the group of photos of Hal Jordan’s predecessor below, which a GLC insurance adjuster probably put up online over at WorstPreviews.com. Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds, Mark Strong, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Angela Bassett, Tim Robbins, and Temuera Morrison, who happens to be the claimant below, opens on June 17, 2011.
Morrison recently spoke with Latino Review on the makeup: “That took about 4-5 hours to put on, it was all prosthetic.” And also about future work on the franchise: “You know there are making sequels right?” Morrison said. “They want me to come back in the sequel. They want to show you my backend story for the next movie. They want to show you how I become part of Green Lantern Corps.”
Thanks to Brian for the tip.

That looks pretty great. Looking forward to this one despite all the Internet whining.
Let me get this straight- GL's costume is entirely CGI but Abin Sur is an animatronic suit?
@#2- That's just a comic con display. He'll be CG in the movie.
@#2 no artard, his alien face make up was prosthetic. nowhere does it mention animatronic.
Calling it: Sinestro and Amon Sur form the Sinestro Corps in the sequel.
Everything I've seen from this film looks like ass. Iron Man proved you could take a second-tier superhero and make a decent movie. Unless the hero's power is magic jewellery.
