I’m not a fan of the theatrical trailer for Machete, but add in the appropriate gore and nudity, dial back on the stupid editing gimmicks, change up the Grindhouse shots a bit, and voila! It works. We have Danny Trejo starring in his own hyperviolent action movie with beautiful women and dudes like Steven Seagal and Robert DeNiro classin’ up the joint. It all makes so much sense now!

Machete hits on September 3rd, just in time to provide a nice chaser to the carnage of The Expendables.

Beautiful action comedy. No way this can be taken seriously; it's gonna be a total gas. Cheech's last line in the trailer is classic.
