I live in the bank robbery capital of the world, so there isn’t too much that surprises me when it comes to stories of the unusual lengths perps (that’s cop lingo) will go to to score some quick cash. I was even in North Hollywood just hours before on the day of the infamous 1997 bank robbery and shootout. And we get at least a pursuit a week out here, several of them stemming from robberies of some sort, so that’s kind of old hat to us. One might say Angelenos are even a bit ho-hum about bank robberies.
Then we get stories like the one below coming out of New York to restore our faith in humanity on the subject:

Nice.
Someone's gotta pay Vaders child support… dude has 2 Death Stars he's still payin' off, plus all those medical bills. In todays global climate it's a wonder the guy can still make payments on his TIE fighter…
Am I first? Anyway, that is funny. Go go go costumed bandits, say I.

Wow, I figured Hayden Christensen fell on tough times after the prequels, but this is ridiculous. The guy is doing whatever it takes to pay the bills these days. Lord knows he can't rely on acting skills to put food on the table.
Isn't this how the masked vigilante movement got started. Where's Dollar Bill when you need him?
A gun? Vader needs a fucking gun? Couldn't he just tell the employee to hand over the cash.
"No."
"I find your lack of money disturbing."
And then he uses the Force.
A gun…
