Magnolia has just released this new poster for Neil Marshall’s Centurion, which they commissioned from British comic book artist Simon Bisley (of Lobo fame). He sure did a helluva job- check it out!
But Neil, if you’re listening? As much as we unabashedly love Doomsday, two films featuring hot warrior chicks with blue tattoos is plenty, thanks.

Isn't the average moviegoer going to think this is a 2D animated feature when he/she sees that poster? Or won't this poster be used for the mainstream campaign?

Love Doomsday? Are you serious? That movie was fucking rancid. Worse than that, it was painfully boring.
Geezus – some of you people are effin' sad. Doomsday "rancid"??? "Not one of Bisley's best"???? Neil Marshall has been putting out some of the most unique films – and thank god for that. Doomsday was chalk full of oogly fun.
And this poster by the Biz is sweet. Love where he placed the sword – as a matter of fact the composition of this piece is super sweet. The Fassbender likeness is excellent as it's just enough of Biz style mixed with spot-on characterization. Hollywood really needs to get more Biz in their movie posters.
gotta agree with #5+6, Doomsday was annoyingly pants and Bisley has penciled sketches better than this.

that poster is pretty sweet, but compared to the gritty all out epic-ness live-action of the film (saw it last night on demand, well worth it) i don't think this poster fits the film very well. still cool i guess
Not one of Bisleys best is very correct. Its quite good, but Biz used to be masterful. What happened to him indeed, too much booze? Steroids? The guy got as big as the amazing Slaine he used to paint. Which is probably where they got the inspiration from for this film. I really hope all this leads to a proper Slaine film, instead of only films like Braveheart and this one just stealing from it.
I apologize for my earlier misguided comment about blue-tattooed women. I obviouisly wasn't thinking clearly when I made that statement.
