I’m quite jealous of the damn Limies at the moment, for Sky1 will be airing, An Idiot Abroad, a 60-minute documentary in which everyone’s favorite ball-headed idiot sage, Karl Pilkington, is sent on a travelogue around the world… where he of course whinges about everything.
I look forward to this hitting DVD eventually. This teaser isn’t a laugh riot, but I don’t think the podcasts are very funny when broken down into soundbites either. Pilkington’s slothlike delivery needs room to breathe.

What a coincidence, I've been listening to the Ricky Gervais XFM radio shows/podcasts over the past couple of days. Karl is hilarious, and I was wondering what he was up to these days.
I hope he works visually as well as in sound-only. The pictures you get in your head while listening to RG and he befuddle each other from different ends of the intellectual spectrum are a big part of the appeal. Oh and it's "Limeys".
The Ricky Gervais podcasts and HBO animated show are fucking hilarious. Although Ricky and Steve can be quite mean and condescending, its still pretty damn funny. I cant wait to see this. Thanks for the heads up..
