Coming Soon has three new photos from the upcoming Dwayne Johnson revenge actioner, Faster. Billy Bob Thornton, Carla Gugino, Maggie Grace, Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Moon Bloodgood also star. In the film, Johnson plays a driver (and aptly enough it’s his character name), fresh out of jail after ten years looking for some payback on his brother’s killer after they were both set up on a heist gone bad. Adding to the action are the fact that Driver is being pursued by both a determined cop (Thornton) and an up-and-coming hitman looking to take him out.
George Tillman, Jr. (Notorious) directed and Tony Gayton and Joe Gayton (The Salton Sea, Uncommon Valor respectively) wrote the script. The film is set to open on November 19th. I also, found the poster for the film, which I hadn’t seen yet, over at Wikipedia.
Just looking at that third photo below, don’t know if there’s anybody that can convey an asskicking with a look as well as Johnson. In a crossover sequel, the driver named Driver should team up with the farmer named Farmer to fight crime and Krug.
well, this shouldn't conflict at all with the new Ryan Gosling movie called Driver, about a guy named Driver, who drives getaway cars until a heist goes wrong.
