A while back, Hulu was blatantly coming out and saying they were an alien plot to take over the world. They got Alec Baldwin and Eliza Dushku (or their alien counterparts…) to confirm it. Now they’re premiering the new trailer for Gareth Edwards’ Monsters, which is about an alien infestation on Earth. Coincidence? Check it out below.
The synopsis via Magnet:
Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America. Soon after, new life forms began to appear and grow. In an effort to stem the destruction that resulted, half of Mexico was quarantined as an INFECTED ZONE. Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain the massive creatures… Our story begins when a jaded US journalist (McNairy) begrudgingly agrees to find his boss’ daughter, a shaken American tourist (Able) and escort her through the infected zone to the safety of the US border.
Monsters premieres On Demand, Vudu, Playstation Marketplace, Amazon and Xbox Live on September 24th; and intheatres on October 29th.

Soooo… a trailer we've already seen is available on website we already know about, and we laugh remembering the ad campaign from months ago…
Slow news day, huh?
Not a slow news day, just a normal day at CHUD.
I can't wait for this to come out.
What is the thinking for it coming out streaming services before it is in theaters?
I'm going to wait to see it in the theater. It will probably end up playing here in NY at one of the few places that seems to attract audience members that don't make theater going painful. Like Sunshine, BAM or IFC.
So stop coming here, fuckwads.
Good film. It's not District 9 and that's why all the trolls and fanbois will hate it.
Comment #3—If it's Magnet putting this movie out, then it's barely getting released, and for those of us that aren't in larger markets, we're not going to be able to see it in the theater anyway, so the sooner it reaches other outlets the better.
#5:Well, you're a troll and you liked it. And you're on a fanboi website…so what the fuck are you talking about? Oh, you didn't like D9? Well, sucks to be you then. Don't see what that has to do with this movie at all.
Got a Cthulu thing going on there
