Yet another poster has surfaced for the upcoming Let Me In over at Coming Soon. Matt Reeves’ remake of John Ajvide Lindqvist’s Let The Right One In has had several one sheets, with this one being an update of the rather effective one introduced here. The film stars Chloe Moretz, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Richard Jenkins, Elias Koteas, Sasha Barrese and Cara Buono, and tells the story of a bullied young boy named Owen who forms a bond with a mysterious girl named Abby who lives next door.

Definitely prefer the other one, this one's just too much. Corny, even.
Agreed, I like the first poster better. There's some ambiguity about not seeing who made the bloody snow angel that makes you wonder if maybe it was a thrashing victim that left the imprint in the snow.
AND the snow even looks photoshopped. Boring
Yup. They've gone in the completely wrong direction… makes me afraid for the actual film.

Thought this one took place in New Mexico? Is there a lot of snow in New Mexico? I've only been once and it was a freaking desert, so I am just asking. The book and original adaptation were both masterpieces but I can't say I am looking forward to this, even with Jenkins and Koteas. And I really like both of them, but Matt Reeves is kind of a hack.
Everyone already knows the outcome to this. It will be a pretty good but will lose the flare of the original by cutting elements to meet the perceived moral standards or America. The director will get more work because…we ll all know why. And the world will keep spinning.
#6…I live in NM and yeah, we get a lot of snow here in the winter, especially a heavy winter like last year. Still, I knew it was shot here (like so many movies these days because NM has great tax benefits for film makers), but I'm not so sure it actually takes place here. Maybe though.
