Not if you don’t want to have a key plot point spoiled in a big way. Can’t even tell you what or who is spoiled. The DreamWorks Animation / Paramount Pictures film stars Will Ferrell as a bumbling alien super villain who was Kal-El-ed off his dying planet at the same time that the heroic Metro Man (Brad Pitt) got the same treatment. The two would grow up to be arch enemies, although Megamind’s membership in the Guild of Calamitous Intent would have probably been revoked long ago by his numerous failures (maybe, it would depend on what kind of mood non Megamind mini spoiler: David Bowie was in at the time I guess). Tina Fey, Jonah Hill, Justin Long, Amy Poehler, David Cross and Bill Hader also star. Megamind is directed by Tom McGrath and opens in theatres in 3D on November 5th.

Wow, yes… that is a major plot spoiler. It spoils way more than plot though: all the things I found intriguing about Megamind completely vanished after I saw this. So, I guess I'm glad I watched it. Let's just say it's gonna be way more Shrek than Incredibles.
Yeah, I didn't quite get what was being spoiled at first- but then it dawned on me at the end of the trailer… man, I feel the same way as Newbs. I'll hold judgement until i've actually seen the film, but way to bring down my anticipation…
Thank you, Will Ferrell, for absolutely nothing. You suck and only play 2 characters ever, the douchebag arrogant guy and the ignorant man child fool. And George Bush, who is both. Go to hell.
I didn't notice any spoilers, though I know nothing about Megamind so I don't know what I, er, didn't know. Just seemed like any other shitty, let's-explain-the-whole-film trailer.
Also completely unfunny. I expect that from Dreamworks, but man. Completely unfunny.
Are you asswipes children?? Who gives a fuck about a kiddie cartoon. For gods sake dont tell me you jerkoffs are creepy pixar worshippers too? Grow the fuck up!
Chudfan's Pixar trolling gains new layers and nuance every time.
I guess they could only afford 15 minutes worth of Pitt's voice. This looks like shit.
#5–I am a PROUDLY creepy Pixar worshiper. I know you're a troll, but I'll explain. You see, Pixar is more consistently awesome at doing what they do than any other modern filmmakers except for maybe the Coens or P.T. Anderson. The fact that the genre Pixar excels at is children's entertainment is also remarkable, considering that other studios are willing to turn out shit like MEGAMIND or TANGLED or whatever the fuck. MARMADUKE fer chrissake. And moreover, children's entertainment is really important: where would any of us be without Sesame Street and Willy Wonka and and Pee-Wee Herman and the Muppets and all that?
Having seen a prescreening of this film I loved the fact that so much was held back in the previous trailers. Don't let this new one scare you away – this was a great animated flick in the same vein as Despicable Me and better. No Pixar movie of course, but one heck of an entertaining movie.
I absolutely loved this movie. It was pretty funny. the humor is more towards adults than kids.
