Can’t wait for Dragon Age II, but don’t want any more gorgeous but unrevealing CGI storybook marketing? Then take a bite out of this meaty new gameplay trailer:
It’s looking a little more washed out than its predecessor, but it certainly won’t lack the first game’s torrents of gore. Watch an unlucky Darkspawn(?) explode into ribbons of blood at 0:55.
The trailer also confirms a March 8th release date, as well as Bioware’s 1/11/11 pre-order promotion for a free upgrade. Hurl some insults at a solemn Qunari on the PS3, PC, and 360 next year.

This game is as good as bought. I love Dragon Age.
This is an in-engine cutscene montage, not gameplay. Gameplay is, y'know, the game being played.
Never more disappointed than after I bought this thing … what a boring game. To top it off, they had extra downloadable content that I could PURCHASE on Launch Day! Dunno why, as I used to really enjoy their stuff … but this one did nothing for me, and doubt the sequel will either.
By the way … LOVE the new CHUD … it is fun again!
