Yahoo has just premiered this first poster for Jon Favreau’s Cowboys & Aliens, check it out!
Haven’t read the comic (has anyone?) but it’s an interesting choice for a teaser poster. Subtle.
Of course, we’ve likely seen Daniel Craig about to use that alien technology on his arm in the first released still from the film. One wonders why he’d still hold onto the rifle!
Craig will of course be joined by Harrison Ford in what one hopes will be a career-reviving role (no, Indy IV didn’t help), the ever-charming Sam Rockwell and Olivia Wilde, who’s set to appear in Tron: Legacy next.
Cowboys & Aliens just finished shooting at the end of September and will hit theaters on July 29th, 2011.

The comic is a perfect turd. Fortunately, the film seems to mostly be only borrowing the title.
Ford seems to get a lot of flack for Indy IV. The movie sucked, not his performance.
Exactly. Ford was one of the few things I surprisingly liked about Indy IV!
I don't think that's flak directed at Ford (who's still all kinds of awesome when he can be convinced to give a shit about the work) persay; just saying that the film itself didn't do much to revive his career, which I think is fair. Can't wait for this, though.
I'm really looking forward to this movie, but MAN that's a bland poster. Is there a name for that pose, because it shows up in posters enough to have one?
No flack for Ford! I'm pulling for the guy as much as anyone who sat through Hollywood Homicide in theaters possible can!

It seems like every new comic book movie is based on a comic book that's really just a movie script + storyboard in disguise. Cowboys and fucking Aliens. God.

This poster has altered me, i cannot stop staring at cowboy Daniels arse. It is so beautiful like a peach from heaven. Just stunning. I want to use it as a pillow.
