I don’t know why I’m surprised that a James Franco, Danny McBride, Natalie Portman, and Zooey Deschanel movie directed by David Gordon Green looks funny as hell and damn near unmissable, but I’m a little bit. I mean, it’s a knights in armor movie with special effects. So rarely does that setting and comedy work.
But oh does it work…
Your Highness (set visit) looks like the perfect combo of all things, and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if Justin Theroux steals the whole damn picture. Delightfully profane, surprisingly epic looking, and loaded with adorable women (and let’s face it, Mr. Franco’s pretty good to look at too). Yeah, this one shoots way up the “must see” meter.

The drug gag really hits with a thud, just like the falling down the stairs in the armor bit. I will admit that I will still see this because of Portman, even if it will likely be terrible.

Not much in this trailer, but hopefully they were smart not to give away all the best jokes in the trailer. I think the biggest offender of all time was The Spy Who Shagged Me.
Glad the World of Warcraft movie finally is getting released. All this trailer needed was the song "Black Betty". Seriously though, this movie looks like one of those "stupid fun" movies like Jackass that I could enjoy and glean laughs from for a long, long time, well played. 🙂

McBride and Franco are gems of gentlemen, but a lot of the jokes in this trailer seem beneath their usual hilariousness. Hopefully it's just because it's the redband and so they decided to cram it full of all the lamer, easier, bluer jokes and the rest of the film is those dudes being their usual amount of hilarious, which is entire leagues above most actors.
Not even released and has already caused my friends and I to quote the film. Going to be so awesome.
