The new trailer for Disney’s upcoming 3D animated feature, Mars Needs Moms! is now up over at Yahoo! Movies. The film stars Seth Green, Joan Cusack, Elisabeth Harnois, Dan Fogler, Mindy Sterling, Breckin Meyer and Billy Dee Williams and is based on the book by Berkeley Breathed. It centers on a rebellious nine-year-old named Milo who, after having an argument with his mother, finds himself having to try to save her when she’s abducted by Martians. It’s directed by Simon Wells and produced by Robert Zemeckis Jack Rapke, Steve Starkey.
Mars Needs Moms! opens on March 11, 2011.

Uh…what happened to Berke Breathed's beautiful artwork? The man's got a great and unique visual sensibility, but whoever made this movie has removed every trace of it. This just looks like a scarier POLAR EXPRESS. If I were Breathed I'd be pissed.

The CG characters don't look dead. The kid's eyes are full of life. Stop fucking parotting the same old bullshit like it fucking means anything. The animation and performance capture look fantastic.
