Just Jared has the first snaps of Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy in the upcoming Spider-Man reboot. Marc Webb is directing Andrew Garfield as the younger Peter Parker, who’s been demoted back to high school. The reboot also stars Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben, Sally Field as Aunt May, Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors, Denis Leary as Captain Stacy, Campbell Scott, Julianne Nicholson and Irfan Khan as Van Atter (wait, who?).
The scene being depicted below is that of Emma Stone’s Gwen standing in the rain during a funeral. Emma looks solemn in a couple of the shots. But if you ask me though, I think she’s just thinking of Willem (the cool kids will get that gag). Spider-Man is due in 2012.

She looks so different with her blonde hair; may I add, however, that she looks MUCH better as a red head, than as a blonde; I realize she is a natural blonde and I'm used to seeing her as a redhead, but still. Ahhh well…

the best part of the real Spider-Man movie was that the webs WERE natural. He's got all the powers of a spider, why not make the webs natural too? fuckin fanboys go to hell
I'd be seriously fucking surprised if the webs were not organic this time around. That was the best improvement ever, they're not going to mess with that. Right? Also I'm fairly certain he's not going to be in high school in this movie. I'm pretty sure I read that. On CHUD. That's also a good thing, because neither Garfield nor Stone are high school kids anymore.
Wow, all my scepticism regarding this movie has suddenly disappeared upon seeing these awesome shots of some chick holding an umbrella. Yawn.
Yeah, because Hollywood ALWAYS casts actual high school age kids to play high schoolers in their movies. Always.
