Kind of looks like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ joint with some Raider Nation sensibilities and color scheme. Pirates stars Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush, Ian McShane, Penelope Cruz, Kevin R. McNally, Astrid Berges-Frisbey and Sam Claflin and opens in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D on May 20th.

But can I picture inner city youths shooting each other for jackets with Blackbeard's logo on it? The answer is no.
That looks WAY too modern for a 18th century pirate flag. Fix the goddamn verification thing.

Pfffft, if Disney had any balls they would have the Blackbeard from Blackbeard's Ghost in this movie.
Wholeheartedly agree with #3; not only does this design look terrible, but Blackbeard had an awesome, memorable flag that probably wasn't designed by a fucking committee. They used it along with a whole slew of real pirates' flags in At World's End, at least. Attempt #6.
