The Online Film Critics Society has bestowed their annual awards:
– Best Picture: The Social Network
– Best Director: David Fincher, The Social Network
– Best Lead Actor: Colin Firth, The King’s Speech
– Best Lead Actress: Natalie Portman, Black Swan
– Best Supporting Actor: Christian Bale, The Fighter
– Best Supporting Actress: Hailee Steinfeld, True Grit
– Best Original Screenplay: Christopher Nolan, Inception
– Best Adapted Screenplay: Aaron Sorkin, The Social Network
– Best Cinematography: Roger Deakins, True Grit
– Best Editing: Lee Smith, Inception
– Best Animated Feature: Toy Story 3
– Best Foreign Language Film: Mother
– Best Documentary: Exit Through The Gift Shop
We’ll see how these stack up against the Oscar nominees, which will be announced at 5:30 AM on January 25th.

There must be something wrong with me because I can't understand why the Social Network gets so much love. I thought there were so many better films this year.
I love both Inception and Scott Pilgrim. I love the editing in both. I'd expected Pilgrim to take editing, but I guess you're right: Smith/Nolan did manage to keep three separate realities straight in the edit. I suppose that was the larger job.
Yeah, the social network needs to calm it's ass. It's great, it's amazing, it's a really fucking good movie, but it ain't no Inception. It's not even a True Grit. But yeah, it's awesome, and Jesse Eisenberg deserves best actor.
Hailee Stanfield is considered supporting? I know she's a newcomer and everything but she was the protagonist

Yeah, I'd like to…erm…third the 4th comment. That girl was the LEAD CHARACTER in True Grit. I can't hate Jeff Bridges (wouldn't even be surprised to find that he feels similarly on the subject) but damn do I hate the whole fucking movie star bubble.
So, a bunch of guys who make their living online voted a movie about the founding of a website best picture? Predictable.
