The Hangover, Part II (you have to love the fancy Roman Numeral approach) is going to make more money than Warner Bros. is going to know what to do with. Oh wait, replenish the coffers emptied to no good effect by the awful fiasco that is Sucker Punch. It’ll deserve the success too. The first film is still a blast even factoring in the overexposure and rushed sequel. The trailers so fan have kept most of the details about the plot close to the vest but one would expect it’s going to be more good old R-rated fun.

Yeah, despite the hipster backlash, the first movie remains enormously popular. It’s not as if everyone was somehow duped into seeing it and hated it.
So Justin Bartha isn’t going to play a bigger role in this one?
He was barely in the first one.
Blu Ray for me…. but I will see it. Love the first one, no matter what some hippster doofuses say. typical internet backlash.
Wasn’t a fan of the first one, but there is no doubting that the second one is going to make a lot of money! I’ll see it.
I think the appeal of the 1st was the mystery aspect in that you really didn’t know what going to happen next. I just hope the sequel isn’t a rehash of the same jokes or a “white man in strange new land” type of story.
Only those that hate the politics of the first film (or better said, those that injected politics into the first film) will try to hate on this. The Hangover was a good time at the theatre with many good laughs. That good will ensures a big opening weekend and many fans of the first will check it out no matter what the reviews say. My only fear is that this movie is more PC than the last one and tries to inject some lessons for our main characters to learn along the way. The appeal of the first was that outlandish shit and hijinks ruled the day, and the vague surprise that something like this actually made it out of the studio at all.
