Yahoo! Movies has a new poster up for the upcoming Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds. It’s of fellow Green Lantern Corps member, Tomar-Re, who is voiced by Geoffrey Rush. Green Lantern also stars Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Temuera Morrison, Michael; Clarke Duncan, Tim Robbins and Angela Bassett.
Green Lantern opens in theatres in 2D and Real 3D on June 17th. You can click on the image to enlarge.

I like Green Lantern, but whenever he uses his ring to make something “comical” like a giant green mallet or a giant green catcher’s mitt, it’s just… lame. Hopefully, there’s not much of that in the movie. Nice poster.
I don’t like the look of this character, not one bit. I’m more than a little curious to see how GREEN LANTERN does at the BO when images like this are central to it’s marketing campaign
