The more I see of Cowboys & Aliens the more excited I get for the film. Though this new poster isn’t one of those things that gets me more excited. It is kinda boring actually. I suppose it does a commendable job of conveying the information that both Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford are in the movie. That’s about it. Come on people. It’s a western with fucking aliens in it. Let’s get a little inventive. Aside from the glowing gizmo on Craig’s wrist, this looks like a magazine ad for a TNT movie.
UPDATE: Found this non-commissioned poster made by Los Angeles artists Janee Meadows. This is certainly more fun.

Seeing Harrison still look that old AFTER airbrushing makes me feel very depressed.

At this point, I think Craig does have more BO pull than Ford. Craig’s actually been in some decent movies in the past decade.

Even if the posters are lame, I think this might be one of the few films I see this year. Captain America also has me a little excited. And- whoa- Olivia Wilde is supposed to get naked in Cowboys & Aliens????? She is awesome and makes my laugh (bonus points for her being attractive).
