I’ve seen the Twilight movies, and while they don’t make me hate the world like most people, I don’t exactly look forward to seeing them. This doesn’t look too bad, though, as much as I would like to read it the riot act. And I know I’ll have to see it to please m’lady. So I can imagine enduring a lot worse…like Bucky Larson or something. But I digress. The vampire romance you’ve had a hankering for is below, for your viewing pleasure. Something tells me Bella should have taken the Morning After a Rogering by a Sparkling Vampire pill. Could’ve sworn CVS sells those….

Fuck these movies in their faces.
Hey, this is directed by Bob Condon who has had a 3 for 3 record since hitting it big( and wrote Chicago). I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt more then Chris Weitz or Robert Slade…but, that still can not make me excited to see this movie…
Guys, a little perspective here. These movies aren’t for us. There are other audiences out there with other interests besides ours. I don’t begrudge other people these movies. You think the average Twilight person cares about any of the franchises that we’re excited about? We seem just as stupid to them as they do to us.
That said, these movies are terrible. The books are worse, but what the hell – somebody likes ’em. Me? I’m waiting for other things.
Bad movies are bad movies and deserve to be begrudged, regardless of its perceived fanbase.
Why? What difference does it make to you if a tween girl or a soccer mom goes to see this? There is no objective definition for “bad” when it comes to movies. It’s all subjective opinion. The majority of movies are made for specific audiences and if you’re not in that audience, you’re automatically going to think it’s bad. And it’s no skin off my nose if you like something I don’t. Twilight is lightning in a bottle. It’s not going to be a concern for much longer.
Why?
Because message boards are for passive aggressive wanna be critics. They’ll nitpick it to death, even if they don’t know the slightest thing about filmmaking. Those who can’t do, bitch on talkbacks.
OleJackBurton, can’t agree with you more. I was a fan of the books and enjoyed the first movie, but by the second movie, I was over the whole thing, but saw it just to see what it was like. I’ll watch the final two movie’s just for the storyline alone if for anything else.
