Yesterday I dug deep to sum up the wide canvass of early Tintin reviews as possible. Generally favorable, there were definitely nuances and disagreements in the reactions, which you should definitely check you if you haven’t. In any event, punctuating the first wave of reactions is a nice new US trailer that gives a little bit more of a look at the villain, the overall adventure, and the dynamic between the lead hero and Andy Serkis’ character, Haddock. It’s a pretty stellar trailer, but I think most of us are pretty much sold on it (as much as is possible) by now. Just time for the damn thing to arrive in theaters.
Take a look for yourself…

Gotta say that looks worth seeing.
They sure know how to put together a trailer. Three months ago, I would’ve bet anything this would flop domestically, where the character is virtually unknown. Now this is looking to be a huge hit. I still wish they’d feature Moffat’s credit more instead of focusing just on Spielberg and Jackson.
Moffat, really? They should have given a big fat above-the-title credit to Georges Remi, don’t you think?
