The Raid is a movie I’ve been looking forward to ever since the jaw dropping trailer was released several months ago. With the depressing news of The Expendables 2 being PG-13 (fuck it, I’m still going to see it) it’s a welcome change of pace to see some good old fashioned R-RATED bone crunching action.

Definitely looking forward to checking this out. Has a Hard Boiled vibe to it (action-wise – really brutal looking action).
Frankly, it looks stupid.
Always those disarticulated movements, complete with the back_and_forward swinging, that Asian actors seem to consider necessary to emphasize being hit by a mighty blow. Can’t take this seriously, really.
