There are a couple of folks out there who are going to have their day/month/year made by this one…
To continue their countdown celebration and get people excited about the mere 50 days that remain between them and the release of the hotly-anticipated Hunger Games film, the studio is setting aside some seats at the film’s LA premiere to fill with the asses of their greatest fans. CHUD and 49 other sites each have a pair of tickets to the premiere to give away.
The film of course hits theaters March 23rd but, as I’ve already reported, tickets will be available sooner on February 22nd. Hopefully though, we’ll able to give them to you even sooner than that so that you can watch the film with the people who made it and are in it!
THE CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED.
Now obviously this premiere will be taking place in LA, which means that if you enter you’ll have to be able to make it to the city of Angels on March 12th.
If that’s the case (and I will need you to tell me if you live in LA, or definitively have the means to get there with your entry) then getting the tickets are quite simple…Simply send an email to this address with a 50-word (exactly) explanation of why you need these two premiere tickets.
That’s it!
Otherwise you should be keeping an eye on the Hunger Games Facebook page for info about other cool stuff, and tweet with the #HungerGames50 hashtag on twitter today.
Good luck!

Hopefully the two Chud readers who want to see this film find out about this promotion.
I’m actually one of those two CHUD readers who is looking forward to seeing this one. But not enough to write a 50 word paragraph of why I need to be at the premiere.
I actually really want to enter this but when I click the email link I don’t get an email address …could anyone please tell me what it is? Thanks.
I’m curious when this contest ends and how many times I can enter. I’m fully prepared to write a 50 word paragraph each day until the deadline.
The things I would do for these tickets…
Getting these tickets would be amazing. Katniss is truly an inspiration and definitely one of my favorite characters in recent years.
I’m having the same issue with the email address. What is the email address that I can send my 50-word response to? Thanks so much! rachaelkim451@gmail.com
When we are explaining how we will make it to the premier does that count as part of the 50 words? Or can we just put it separately?
When is the winner going to be revealed? I want to win so bad!
Want these more than anything!
Have you announced the winners yet?
