I thought this was another “If CHUD Ran the Movies”, but then I noticed I wasn’t laughing
I know that the point of this is to show how bad the zombie trend has gotten, but I will still point out that Bin Laden was shot in the head, so he cannot comeback as a zombie. Do the filmmakers think we are going through “Osama withdrawal” so we need to bring him back? Also, Sam Raimi should be suing their asses for using “evil dead” in their title.
Fuck yeah! Corey Sevier!
Great. I guess this nixes my idea for a Spider-Man crossover featuring Osama Bin Goblin.
And next comes Mohammedawn of the Dead…
Sorry, Nick, the dead don’t die. Zombies aren’t going anywhere.
That’s right. I think by now, the zombie thing has to be called more than a fad. People put it on death watch a year after Dawn of the Dead (Snyder), yet here we are. Walking Dead just keeps doing better and better business. Resident Evil improves it’s box office with each installment. People love this stuff.
Yeah, the Zombie is the Dracula and Frankenstein’s Monster of the late 20th Century/Early 20th Century. It’s the perfect horror metaphor for most modern anxieties.
As a horror fan, I don’t want the “zombie thing” to go away, I just want quality products.
The ONLY positive thing about this is that it continues to mock and ridicule this man’s horrible legacy.
For the Bin Laden thing- if we can have Nazis still be the bad guys for movies for today’s movies, I can see Bin Laden lasting for a long time to come too. Many think its wrong, but did anyone protest the Red Skull in Captain America? Or Hitler himself in Inglorious Basterds? Or Indian Jones for that matter? As long as we have movies, books, comics, real world villains will be transferred to those mediums, somehow. I don’t object; its what humanity does in its storytelling.
As for zombies being “played out” I couldn’t disagree more. Zombies are like anything else- done well, and its great, done poorly, and its bad. Does anyone suggest that “torture porn” is played? Or how about the “slasher flick”? Again, when movies are done well, they’ll be an audience.
I’m not saying this movie will be good or bad, I was just remarking on the commentary here…
Chaos Corner
Agreed.

“Or Indian Jones for that matter”. There’s a Indian Jones?! You mean like a tomahawk wielding adventurer seeking lost relics? Me wanna see!
That’s the most honest thing I’ve heard in quite a while. Kudos sir.
Wouldn’t “Indian Jones” be stealing artifacts back from museums?
