I was the only person in the theater when I went to see Alexandre Aja’s Piranha 3D. There’s something strangely voyeuristic in watching Jerry O’Connell’s dong get swallowed by mutant piranhas in a gigantic theater all by your lonesome. Also? Strangely satisfying.
I’m going to reflect on that while you tempt fate at the office and check out this (NSFW) trailer for follow-up Piranha 3DD. Let’s not pretend like people who frequent water parks didn’t have this coming.

The first film was a whole lot of fun and this trailer suggests that this film will be also. Titties, gore and The Hoff. What more can we ask of a film? Well, perhaps a cameo form Jerry O’Connell’s penis.
Jerry O’Connell should have received a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his performance in Piranha 3D. The man was dying, for crying out loud, and he still had the presence of mind to have his last words be about the wet T-shirt contest. As far as the sequel goes, can’t go wrong with gory violence and big tits. Gary Busey and The Hoff are just icing on the cake.
I sincerely hope this comes to theaters near me. I might actually cry if it doesn’t. Seriously, tears will be shed.
