Is that Devin Faraci as the priest? I didn’t know he went into acting. Anyway, as terrible as this is, I’ll see it, because I hate myself. This comes out in stereoscopic 3D at some point, hopefully before Asia Argento od’s on smack. Thanks Felix for the heads-up.

The horror genre seems to be amidst bleak times at the moment. It’s almost entirely populated by either tired old men (John Carpenter, Dario Argento) shallow fanboys (Eli Roth, Rob Zombie, the entire “Splat Pack”), or indifferent hacks. We need a new horror renaissance, damn it, and one without the post-modern smugness of SCREAM or CABIN IN THE WOODS.
At least the “shallow fanboys” are trying. The tired old men (you forgot Romero) just need to hang it up and rest on what little laurels they have left.
Wow, that looks beyond bad. Like, Asylum bad. And that shot of Rutger Hauer randomly pulling two chains while looking confused was hilarious.
