An all-star cast taking on a world-renowned Broadway musical. This might be flaggrant Oscar bait but I’m already sold on the soundtrack. Universal, if you need a tag line for the poster then I’d like to suggest keeping it classy with something along the lines of “Anne Hathaway got mad pipes this winter.” Think about it and get back to me.

Funny. The two posts above pretty much sum up the feelings towards this property. You either love it or hate it. I don’t know many people who would check it out because of (insert actor here) is in it. They either love musicals or not like them at all.
Oh thank fucking god that Harvey isn’t involved in this Award-baityness, because that makes this less likely of a shoe-in to win everything. It actually looks like 2012 is shaping up to be a great year for films, and sorry, but this just looks like predictable award bait shit. Sounds pretty. looks pretty, but whatever.
I’m pretty sure he had a hand in “Nine” though, and that didn’t fool anyone. It’s pretty rare that you get 2 shitty movies with the same name coming out in the same YEAR.
