With each new tv spot for The Dark Knight Rises, we get a bit more to see. Last week we got some glimpses of “The Bat” (I hate that name. Just call it the Batwing, dammit.) and now we’re getting a tv spot that showcases a whole lot of action including a glimpse of Batman and Bane fighting. This is the best tv spot I’ve seen so far for the film, and it’s certainly making me anticipate the film a lot more than I previously did.

It looks good, but I don’t know why Rene thought the kind of action we see in this trailer wasn’t going to be in the movie before. This is why people have been anticipating it, man. Or did I mistake the “making me anticipate the film a lot more than I previously did” comment?
These dick jokes are getting old… are you cicumcised, guy? Or just New Englander?
I was looking forward to it, but honestly, Hardy as Bane aside, it wasn’t really ringing a lot of bells for me like Prometheus and Expendables 2 were. Now it is.
Heh, Rene would I be far off in thinking that when you see an action beat that whets your whistle, you have a near insatiable desire to bust out your childhood action figures and have a throw down for 30 minutes?
I imagine things got pretty epic in that department when you were younger.
You’re not far off, Nardo. After seeing Licence To Kill at the theater in 1989, I proceeded to re-enact the still awesome tanker truck chase with my toy trucks and G.I. Joe toys.
I guess these days we can cover ourselves by firing up the PC or Console and going several rounds in a “Play Simulator”. Heh.
