Clearly House of Cards and the one-off new Arrested Development season are the heavy hitters on Netflix’s line-up of productions this year, but I’m interested to see how well something like Hemlock Grove does. Roth’s brand has churned out a number of small horror hits on the big screen- will that translate to streaming views?
This is one you could almost see popping up on a network based just on the trailers and tone, and yet I suspect it will go some places that only cable would dare. The trailer is intriguing, this poster is striking, and I’m interested in seeing what Eli Roth’s chops are like after so many years of producing.
Recall that Roth will also be back in multiplexes with Green Inferno soon.
