Here’s some great news for people who love scary games, but hate downloading stuff: Frictional Games’ Amnesia: The Dark Descent is heading to your local retailer. If you need proof, take an early peek at the box art:
If you’ve been waiting for a good reason to play this terrific game, the box art should suffice. You’ll be able to pick it up for $20 on February 22nd.

Ha, ha. The box should come with a faux book-flap in the front, that when you open it has a pop-up of the monster, and then Amnesia Guy from the YouTube videos starts crying for five minutes.
Picked this game up in the last big holiday sale on Steam. Have yet to play it, because I also bought like 60 other games for dirt cheap. I’m sure I’ll love it in 2013.
It’s so good… move it up on that list! It helps if it’s the only game that you play at night.
