Presenting The Flixies, a new way of looking at awards. Netflix continues their crusade to reshape how consumers devour media with this latest bit of tongue-in-cheek fun, an awards show categorizing and making light of regular viewing habits. Instead of leaving these decisions in the hands of a stuffy academy, you can go to TheFlixies.com and vote for your favorite nominee. A full list of categories and nominees are included below.

Their first problem is listing Buffy as a “guilty pleasure.” Nobody should feel guilty about watching — and then re-watching — Buffy.
Also, “Best PMS Drama”? Really?!
That was fun.
No ‘Scandal’ under Guilty Pleasure or PMS Drama? Come on, man! To tell the truth, last weekend I did a marathon of it while I was hungover, so there’s two more catagories right there.
Why can’t I vote Room In Rome as winner of everything. EVERYTHING.
I know this sentiment. I know it all too well.
Yeah, but I would never admit to watching BTVS to anyone I was trying impress (potential girlfriend, boss). Ergo, it’s a guilty pleasure. Firefly on the other hand, I’d proudly shout that from the rooftops.
