The wait is most *definitely* killing me. This is easily my most anticipated game of the year.

Video games? Articles and discussions about them contribute nothing to the site, and detract from it's true purpose: the constant fellating of all things filmdom … even though television and videos are arguably putting out more compelling product over the last few years.

Video games are quickly becoming more and more of a significant rival to films in both thematic depth and popularity, and GTA4 is one of the finest examples of this so far.

I'm waiting for the PC release – 4 days is N-O-T-H-I-N-G (fuck you Bill Gates). I've played the previous titles to death, but there are a lot of GTA pretenders out there – any of them a cut above the muck? (and non-Vista – Fuck You Bill Gates)

SciCurious, some good gta clones incude Mercenaries, Saint's Row, and the original Mafia. They'r all a little bit different and all good …. ok well Saint's row is pretty much a direct rip off but it's still really fun and the story is allright.

Cool – thanks Servo, will check em out. The GTA/SA mod scene never threw up anything really outstanding that I could find. The Portal mods went crazy. Question of scale and complexity I guess.
