I wondered about the authenticity of the five new international Dark Knight posters shown as exclusives at the Brazilian site omelete.com.br, primarily based on the action figure-ready art featuring Bats on his silly motorcycle. That’s no way to sell a movie these days; I don’t think that image would even have made the cut at Toy Biz back in the early Tim Burton years.
But I pretty much love the three character headshots, in particular the image of Harvey Dent. It points towards Two-Face while nodding in the general direction of the expansive viral online campaign surrounding the character. Good stuff; wouldn’t be bad to see these in North American theaters, too.

Why did thy give Batman Judge Dredd's bike?
Looks cool, but i cant say im a big fan of Batman being on the joker card. Is there a reason behind it or just a bad art choice?
I actually find it fascinating that Dent's poster is the only one where his face is in focus, rather than the object in his hands.
wooo batman! the bat-man bats! he beat hluk e-z. woo joker coool bat-man wtf lol etc.
Okay, so you prefer floating heads to full-blown stylish action shots? Personally, I was happy to see the new Batman posters embracing a more international advertising vibe. However, these floating heads are thankfully more interesting than most.
I haven't yet said anything about this, but why does EVERYONE at CHUD hate Nolan's Batman so much? Every single article about it expresses distaste somehow. This time it's a "silly little motorcycle". Articles about other superhero movies (Iron Man, Hellboy II) invariably find an off-topic way to take Batman down a peg. I don't get it? I was baffled by Devin's negative review of Begins in '05 but now I'm even more baffled by the negativity before anyone has even seen TDK. Everything I've seen from this film looks incredible but I'm waiting until July 18th before I declare any positive opinions.
seriously, please can people drop the whole 'everyone at chud hates batman' thing? cos its getting old. if they dont like it, then fine. if you like it, then fine. grow up people.
They started it
I dig these new posters (even the one where ol' Bats is doin' the two-to-tango with his motorbike), and am awaiting the movie as one of my few reasons to enter a theater this summer (Iron Man and Indiana Jones being the other two). My only worry is that DK will suffer from an overload of characters. Not so much an overload of villains, mind you, but characters in general. Hopefully they can all be juggled without anyone seeming neglected.
al – Uhh Al shouldn't they grow up? Gwai Lo speaks the truth, or else the multitude of replies in the comments sections of various articles talking shit about chud and their negativity to Nolan's Batman is a figment of my imagination. There's a reason Gwai Lo said that.
Ya, because Gwai Lo is a fanboy! God forbid someone should have a different opinion.
