I think I’m going to surprise some of you guys with the next sentence: I don’t really like these six new Watchmen character posters. They’re sort of ugly, and comic book-y in a way that doesn’t resonate with me. Also, they continue the Watchmen poster tradition of not very good taglines. Although maybe I’m being especially hard on the taglines because I hate that angled font.
Warner Bros has spread these posters across the interwebs, each with a character from the story, most of them in very specific scenes from the story (I like how they got around Dr. Manhattan’s dong by using him in his Funeral Suit*. And I like the idea of this glowing blue dude in a suit anyway). Click the images below to see the full sucker.

Who cares about Ozymandias' costume when you have BUBATIS!
…and oh yes, the rest of the characters are pretty decent.
Ozymandias' tag-line is a bit spoilerish, isn't it? Maybe it just seems that way because I know what he's talking about.
It's the composition of the posters that's bad, they should be landscape instead or portrait.
I rather like Doc Manhattan's tagline. And "Funeral Suit" is awsome.
The Rorschach poster looks like a still from Batman and Robin.
I think they look terrific. As always, Devin is wrong.
Maybe not entirely spoiler-ish for those that don't know the material, but it certainly doesn't seem to be painting him as a beloved superhero. Get a definite dark vibe from the poster, which I don't think is good.
I don't really like the tag lines either. It's not that they aren't cool, but it just seems like for as big of a movie that this is supposed to be that they would have chosen to use some better lines.
Not since 'Oldboy' has a squid stuck in someone's craw like the lack of squid in this film is sticking in mine.
I personally love Manhattan's line. Granted it should really confused people who don't know the source material (and are for some reason paying attention without bothering to read the material).
Ozymandias looks like robin, god i hope this movie doesn't suck. with all the hype about the film it better not.
