I have an article coming on Wednesday that goes into much more depth, but of all the films coming in 2010 (including one I was a producer on), few reach deep into my cortex like the upcoming Clash of the Titans remake. Yes it’s a remake. Yes there’s been some spotty word of mouth. Yes, buzzcuts weren’t invented.
Greek Mythology. Giant Monsters. And Slightly Smaller Monsters.
Sold. Now a new spot has arrived featuring some actual dialogue (and the great ‘Damn the Gods’ tagline) and the absolutely MASSIVE Kraken on display. Fuck logic, I cannot wait for this. Check it out:

God of War is fun and fine and all, but not original. Also, there's no stupid button combos here.

I can't believe that a song that has it's basis on a musicbox and played by an annoying screamo band can be the soundtrack for the remake of a great movie.
BTW: CGI is good and looked good here. But hey! remakes often suck…
