I’ve seen about a half dozen comments on Twitter to the effect of ‘The Losers looks like a better movie version of The A-Team than The A-Team movie.’ And man, do I agree. The A-Team looks like a game of dress up. The Losers looks like a movie.
What’s really interesting is that the trailer makes it seem as though the movie has the one element that I always thought the comic lacked: a sense of fun. The comic was a little too self-serious and convoluted for me at times (although I did very much enjoy it), and I think it was going for a heavier vibe than the film version. But the vibe I get from this trailer seems utterly perfect for me.

Yes…This is probably more of how the A-Team should have been (no parachuting tanks please), and the tone seems great. A fitting role for Mr. Morgan, and always great to see Idris get more work.

Outside of the Crank finger gun killshots, this does look like the movie I'd hoped for when seeing the A-Team and whatever Carnahan let me down with after Narc.
Funny, I agree that the comic was convoluted at times, but disagree on one other point; I thought it was outrageously fun and cinematic all the way through. It read like a film. Was very happy to see some scenes from the book duplicated in the film. Serious fun all around.

Carnahan directing A team: it will be guaranteed shit. I know this site got him to answer questions for Smokin' Aces, which explains why everyone sucked his cock around these parts for a while, but outside of some bits and pieces of Narc, the man has done absolutely jack and shit, and the A team will prove him to be a total fucking hack. Back to The losers. looks like fun. Nothing more.
