just premiered this red band teaser trailer for Survival of
the Dead, Romero’s latest, and
I’m not quite sure why it’s not a green band. There’s nothing here
that’s particularly adult or gruesome. RATED R FOR HOT DOG SHENANIGANS!
We shall see. Like everyone else I’m
praying that Romero can pull himself out of his recent slump but my god
man, let this be your last zombie film. Six is enough!

No more Zombie movies in general is a good idea. I'd still like to see him redo Jacks Wife/Season of the Witch. On the dvd he expressed interest in that. I don't even know if it would be good I'd just like to see something he really wants to make. Although I do have hope for this one.
Romero is so horribly, horribly over-rated. This looks…bad. Not even good-bad, just don't-even-bother-downloading-it-from-the-Pirate-Bay bad.
I wanted to see this, but after reading these comments from bitter "film fans" and the guy who said Avatar would bomb, I no longer have any desire…. NOT!!!

Uh, Alex. It's red band because there's blood in it. Yes, it's a cheat because there's not much blood, but that's one way to get a red band: blood. Bait and switch.
I gave Land a passing grade despite some issues. I hope there's enough here to make up for "Fork prongs in the forehead = brain destruction" move there. If it requires severe damage to the brain to stop one of these things, then please at least make it harder to pierce a zombie skull than say, a cereal box. — Oh yeah – please stop inviting us into the message boards for discussion. Apparently no new members are being allowed. I guess you guys are happy with the 20 or so regular posters there…and Princess Kate who makes up for 80% of all content.
